Online survey is sent to council customers

Following a busy year of elections, Print Image Network Ltd has today issued its annual online customer satisfaction survey to council customers across the UK.

Many councils had local elections in May and all councils were involved in the Snap General Election, which was called for 8 June 2017.  With tight timescales, electoral print and mail specialist, Print Image Network was responsive to the task and ensured that all council customers deadlines were met and poll cards, postal votes and ballot books were delivered, in advance of the country’s vote.

With an impressive track record when it comes to customer satisfaction, Print Image Network is the only electoral stationery printer to hold the Cabinet Office’s Customer Service Excellence standard. The results of the questionnaire will be reported to the CSE Assessor for our assessment in January 2018.

If you are a council customer of Print Image Network, look out for your online survey which will be delivered to you by email.  As with previous years, Print Image Network will donate £5 to one of its three chosen charities for customers who complete the online survey and contribute to the company’s continuous improvement.

EU Referendum:  Thursday 23 June – a favourite contender?

With so much speculation about the date of the EU Referendum, it’s little wonder that local authorities are confused about when to schedule their printing requirements for ballot papers, postal votes and poll cards.

Although talks with the European Council President failed to secure an early deal, reports suggest that further talks will prove crucial ahead of the EU Summit on 18-19 February 2016. Therefore, the EU Referendum could still happen as early as 23 June.

Despite the speculation, the date for the referendum remains unknown, with debate surrounding every possible option.  News articles continue to present conflicting views. One report has suggested that the EU Referendum is not at the top of the agenda for EU leaders, eluding to the fact that a deal may not be reached later this month.

However, the Government’s recent motion, which sets out some of the rules of the referendum i.e. the length of the campaign, funding and the timing of the count, plus on going discussions with the European Council President, strengthens reports that Thursday 23 June is still the favourite contender.

Whatever the outcome of the EU Summit during 18 -19 February, Print Image Network is advising local authorities to plan for the soonest possible eventuality.  If you’d like to discuss electoral printing for the EU Referendum please contact us today on 0161 209 4800 or email sales@printimagenetwork.com

Alternatively, we will be at Stand 3 at the AEA Conference, 28 February – 2 March 2016, where our team will be happy to discuss the EU Referendum.

As Print Image Network Ltd, one of the UK’s leading providers of Local Authority electoral printing services, is busy preparing customers for the IER transition, there has been little time to sit back and reflect on some of the positive feedback received by customers following the recent European and local elections.

2014 has been a challenging year for Local Authorities across the UK and councils and suppliers alike have worked together to ensure the election period was managed in a timely and professional manner. During this period Print Image Network has supported customers by printing long ballot papers, poll cards, postal packs and ancillary products such as wristbands and queue cards, to ensure polling stations were equipped to deal with the electorate come Election Day.

“Print Image Network works tirelessly to ensure customers receive a first-class service, it is one aspect of our service of which we are most proud,” says John Foster, Managing Director. “Customers have expressed to us the pressure that has been felt due to combined elections, delayed canvass and IER, at Print Image it is our philosophy to assist our customers as much as possible to help alleviate some of the pressure felt during particularly busy periods. Our dedicated account team works incredibly hard to deliver this service to our customers and we are delighted to see that it is appreciated.”

The feedback received included comments such as “The overall printing of poll cards, postal packs and ballot papers has been first-class” and “The printing was excellent, delivered on time and the service was exemplary.” Comments that were further appreciated by Service Director, Steve Power, who added “We knew 2014 would be a challenging year, the staff at Print Image worked extremely hard to deliver jobs under extreme pressure, so to receive these comments has been extremely rewarding to the management and staff at our company. We would like to thank all our customers for their continued service.”

Print Image Network is now working with customers across England and Wales to deliver IER printing such as HEFs, ITRs and confirmation letters.
