Managing the count
We provide electoral support products to help manage the ballot paper count. This can range from security and the way ballot papers are counted, to ensuring everyone eligible gets the chance to vote on polling day.
Grass skirts
Grass skirts are our popular method for counting ballot paper votes where voters have the option to vote for one or more candidates. A council favourite, our effective and simple trackable count system is robust, affordable and avoids lengthy re-counts. We have small and large grass skirts to accommodate 25 ballot papers and 10 ballot papers across. We also have summary sheets to count grass skirt totals.
Count sheets
Our counting sheet system is an alternative method to grass skirts. It involves the manual transfer of candidate votes from the ballot paper to the counting sheet by marking the count sheet accordingly. Usually done in pairs, volunteers work together to transfer the votes/unused votes.
